Hello, I'm John Davis. I guide the transition from farming areas to the boreal forest. There is very good hunting for most species: moose, elk, bear, wolf, mule and whitetail deer. Other excellent hunts include water fowl and upland game birds. There is also great fishing for northern pike, walleye, trout and artic grayling.

I live near Shining Bank lake, with my wife Debbie. The hunt accommodations are in our home and include meals served at our dining room table. Prices quoted are based on two per bedroom. There is a separate bathroom for the hunters.

We supply transportation to and from the airport in Edmonton, which is approximately 2 hours from our home. 4x4 trucks, ATV'S, heated ground blinds and tree stands are provided for the hunt.
